Yesterday, mysterious crop circles appeared on the Glastonbury site, depicting Radiohead’s “modified bear” logo. Today, the band has been announced as the first headliner for Glastonbury 2017. Next year’s festival, which takes place in Somerset, England, will take place between June 22 – 25. Radiohead have been named as the headliners of the Friday night.
Radiohead last performed at Glastonbury in 2011; for their secret show, the band were billed as “special guests.” They headlined the festival back in 2003. Below, you can find a time-lapse video of the crop circle being made, via the BBC.
Radiohead’s most recent masterpiece, A Moon Shaped Pool, is out now on XL Recordings.
