Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’s 2017 Nominees Out This Week

On Tuesday, October 18th, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is going to reveal the 2017’s nominees, the top five rated will be included into the Hall of April 2017.

Artists become eligible for induction in that category 25 years after the release of their first record. In order to be inducted, an artist must be nominated by a committee that selects anywhere from nine to a dozen candidates.The performers that receive the highest number of votes and more than 50 percent of the vote are inducted.

The new eligible artists of this year are Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, PJ Harvey, Alanis Morissette, Temple of the Dog, Tori Amos, Paul Weller, The Cranberries, Aphex Twin, and The Prodigy.

Other acts up for consideration include The Smiths, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Kraftwerk, Blur, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Hole, Tom Petty (solo), Bon Jovi and more.
