Blonde Redhead have just released a new EP

Blonde Redhead‘s “3 o’ clock” EP is out today via Wa Kuru Records in collaboration with the Italian label Ponderosa.

Italian twins Simone and Amedeo Pace and the Japanese singer Kazu Makino are way far from the noise rock of the early days at this point.

They had already experimented on their last tour, when they reinterpreted their 2004 cult album “Misery is a butterfly” adding wind instruments and  a string quartet. Now their latest work carries on this interesting development, giving birth to sweet melodies and a dreamy atmosphere, where Kazu Makino sings in a near-whisper.
