During its 17 years Club to Club in Turin has built up and developed into one of the best electronic music festivals in the world. It is now considered a must go event in order to get in touch with the latest pop trends and the newborn underground sounds that come out year after year. A place where the past is briefly forgotten favouring a total commitment towards the avant-garde scene. Past editions featured artists like Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, Jamie xx, Swans, Autechre, Andy Stott, Lotic, Clams Casino and many more.
For its 17th edition its organizers have managed once again to maintain their extremely high level. The very first lineup announcement is simply incredible: you can find the jazz genius of Kamashi Washington, Actress’ mezmerising microhouse or Jlin’s amazingly powerful footwork (both of which have released two of the best electronic albums of the year). Adding to these you can drown into Arca’s intimacy teamed up with Jessy Kanda’s extraordinary visuals flanked by extremely pop influenced shows like the one by Mura Masa. The list is really long and interesting. Check out all the announced artists below.
If this wasn’t enough an extra show will also feature Kraftwerk performing their 3D show “The Catalogue – 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8″, consisting in two albums played each day for 4 days:
Trans Europe Express (1977)
The Man-Machine (1978)
Computer World (1981)
Techno Pop (1986)
The Mix (1991)
Tour de France (2003)
