SEBA is a multidisciplinary artist who distills performance, music, installation and fashion into a singular creative outlet, HOUSE OF BASE (@houseofbase).
Working in collaboration with Berlin based producer and DJ, TCV (@tcvbln), both have been releasing joint tracks over the last months (“TRACE”, “L3mons”), leading to their new release, “SOMA”, coming out September 8th, 2023.
The song is a high pitched pop gem blended with euro-dance influences and a low key vibe, merging SEBA´s non chalent flow with TCV´s genuine club-minded nostalgia. Written and recorded in a slangy french, “SOMA” comes as an ode to late summer time, a reflection towards holding feelings back, a love story that restlessly, never was.
“SOMA” works as a simple catch, uplifting and soft, as it gradually escalates through minimal variations until blissful oblivion, overall merely contoured with tinny tones and radiant textures.
“SOMA” comes along with a short clip format, shot by visual artist Nomi Sladko and edited by HOUSE OF BASE.
