[Premiere] Van Boom – DREDD

DREDD is the first track from Van Boom’s upcoming EP Morfeus built up by sounds drawn from early 2000s bass music and industrial club, with the bullheaded desire to create club-shattering tracks. What has influenced Morfeus the most is the horror media that had stuck with Van Boom’s life since childhood, namely ‘Resident Evil’. By channelling the feel those works convey, Van Boom has coloured the complexity of this EP’s raw drums with dread and aggression. Featuring remixes by international club staples Thegn (Absurd Trax), Bulma (Suicide Club, WDIS, Symbols), AN System (Tar, Jerome) and a feature by Matt Tecson (Bedouin Records).
